The story of Devï
Devï is not just a brand. It is a journey woven with stories, shaped by hands, and carried through cultures.
Founded in 2018 by Debbie Kirsch, Devï was born from a life-changing experience in India. What began as a simple encounter with traditional craftsmanship became a deeper calling: to create fashion with meaning, where every piece reflects both beauty and purpose.
At the heart of Devï lies a profound respect for people, for heritage, and for the materials we choose to work with. Each garment is thoughtfully designed in Luxembourg and brought to life by skilled artisans and family-run ateliers across the world. Together, we blend ancestral techniques with contemporary silhouettes, creating pieces that feel both timeless and modern.

We work exclusively with existing materials, vintage saris, deadstock fabrics, pashminas, and forgotten textiles carefully selected for their quality and character. In giving these fabrics a second life, we embrace a slower, more conscious approach to fashion, where uniqueness is not a statement, but a natural result of the process.
Behind every creation are the hands and stories of those who make them. We collaborate closely with our partners, building relationships rooted in trust, fairness, and respect. Many of the artisans we work with are women, whose strength and creativity continue to inspire everything we do.
The name “Devï,” meaning “goddess” in Sanskrit, is a tribute to this spirit an ode to femininity, resilience, and quiet power.
Beyond garments, Devï is also about connection. Over time, we have expanded our presence through experiences that bring people closer to our world. From pop-ups, such as our presence in Amsterdam to being part of curated spaces like Canvas in New York, we continue to share our collections beyond borders.
In Luxembourg, we aim to be present throughout the country, hosting pop-ups and activations in locations such as Belle Étoile, City Concorde, and Knauf, as well as participating in local fairs and events. This allows us to meet our community, exchange stories, and create meaningful connections wherever we go.

Each piece carries its own story of transformation, of heritage, of craftsmanship. Subtle variations and imperfections are not flaws, but marks of authenticity, reminders that what you wear has lived, has been touched, and has been made with intention.
To wear Devï is to embrace a different rhythm of fashion one that is slower, more conscious, and deeply human.
It is an invitation to reconnect with what truly matters:
authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaning.
