The Dina Basket will make your home a happy place.

Make your plants happy with an up cycled hand made basket, use it for your keys in your house entrance or as a small storage box in your bathroom. They come is a lot of different colours but only one size.

Our Dina Baskets are made out of leftover material from Saris. They are traditional outer garments of Indian women consisting of a piece of brightly coloured, frequently embroidered Silk. The initial cloth can be four to seven meters long. It is worn wrapped around the body with the end left hanging or used over the head as a hood. The leftovers are being twisted into long ropes so we can use as much of the material as possible.

These unique scrunchies, headbands and baskets are produced by the Saheli Women Social Enterprise focusing on women empowerment, rural community development, and sustainable growth in Bhikhamkor, Northern India.
